He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Clyde Perry and Mildred "Mim" Bonniline Hall Perry; his brother Kenneth Wayne Perry; and his siblings-in-law, Lonza Hatcher, Jimmy Hatcher and Charlotte Fain.
He is survived by: his wife Etta Hatcher Perry; his children, Rhonda Cooper (Charles) of Anderson, Becky Harris (Jeff) of Patrick Springs, Julie Mize of Fieldale and Jay Slate of Stuart; his grandchildren, Ryan Mize (Emily) of Fieldale, Nate Harris (Ashley) of Patrick Springs, Perry Cooper of Phoenix, Bennett Cooper of Clemson, Kristian Reynolds of Stuart and Aiden Slate of Stuart; his great grandchild Ella Grace Mize; his brother Christopher Perry (Betty) of Roanoke; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Kaufman (Ira) of Pleasant Grove, Betty Browne (Fred) of Clawson, Michigan and Herbert Hatcher of Collinsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
