She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Hughes (Junior) of Stuart, Timothy Goard (Norma) of Stuart, VA and Billy Goard Jr. (Michelle) of Clayton, NC; her grandchildren, Barbara Lee (Matthew) of Virginia Beach, VA, Shannon Wood of Fieldale, VA, Cheyenne Hughes of Raleigh, NC and Megan Goard of Clayton, NC; her sisters, Iva Dale Beavers (Joseph) of Ridgeway, VA, Sue Godbee of Patrick Springs, VA and Dorothy Holt of Martinsville, VA; and her close friend Joan Turner. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
