He was predeceased by: his parents, Gold Lewis Prillaman and Eva Hylton Prillaman; and his brothers, Wilfred Prillaman and Dewey Prillaman. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Martin Prillaman; his children, Danny Lee Prillaman of Martinsville, Virginia and Darlene Prillaman Shelton (Danny Shelton, Sr.) of Stuart, Virginia; his grandchildren, Stephanie Shelton and Danny Shelton, II; his great grandchild Brittany Shelton; his great great grandchild Harper Shelton; his stepchildren, Rhonda Halsey of Roanoke, Virginia and Ronald Chaney of Woolwine, Virginia; his stepgrandchildren, Madison Halsey and Breanna Halsey-Prillaman; his stepgreat-grandchild Oakley Perdue; his sisters, Lena Mae Nichols of Stuart, Virginia and Fern Wimmer of Stuart, Virginia; his sister-in-law Linda Prillaman of Stuart; and his pets, Coco, Molly and Max. He is also survived by his family and loved being Papa to his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his great-great-grandchild.
