He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Mae Hall Chaney; and his mother-in-law Susie Beasley. He is survived by: his father Amon Chaney; his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Amy Pendleton (Nick) and Christy Handy (Barry); his stepson Terry Stowe; his grandchildren, Elian, Christian Pendleton, Madison and Paul Handy; his stepgrandchildren, Terry Lee Stowe and Kelly Humble; his siblings, Shirley Wright (Rickey), Betty McGuire (Gary), Mary Hall (Ronnie), Jimmy Chaney (Randi), Beadie Foree (Charles) and David Chaney; and his brother-in-law Bill Beasley (Glenda).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
