We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2023, at the age of 94, Alberta Jeanette Garrett Hawes of Stuart, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Albert Garrett; her husband L. Clinton Hawes; her daughter Gayla Kilgroe; and her brothers, Ralph Ernest Garrett (Nira) and Clifford Lyle Garrett.
She is survived by: her mother Margaret Jane Campbell Garrett; her children, Rebecca Johnson (Dana), Wardlow Hawes (Sharyon) and Jeanette Redman (Danny); her grandchildren, Kenneth, Michael, Alex, Rachel, Megan, Christina, Ashley and Lucy; and her sister-in-law Eleanor Garrett. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
