William Silas Funkhouser Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Silas Funkhouser of Strasburg, Virginia, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on December 10, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Funkhouser and Florence Long Funkhouser; his wife Ruth Sager Funkhouser; his children, Charles Michael Funkhouser and Teresa F. Glascock; and his grandson William Jared Riley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cherie F. Armel of Winchester and Brenda F. Riley of Slanesville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
