He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frank Russell, Jr. and Nancy Lou Robinson Russell of Clearbrook, VA.; his niece Jami Russell; his nephew Thomas Walling; and his brother-in-law Wayne Walling.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn D. Russell; his pets, KiKi, Dee and Gee; his sons, William Frank Russell, IV (Sarah) and Shaun O'Day Russell (Becky Venanzio); his grandchildren, Gabriel, Maxwell and Kattryn; his sisters, Brenda Simpson (Jack), Esther Cobb and Belinda "Jeanne" Russell; and also, Bella, Sparky, Piper, Lola, Talia and David Russell. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the Frederick County American Little League.
