With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Tolbert of Strasburg, Virginia, born in Shenandoah, Virginia, who passed away on April 7, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jackie Dean "Jack" Tolbert; her parents, Walter "Mart" and Reba Ardesta Rhodes Jenkins; her son Travis Dean Miller; and her siblings, Ida Mae Hepner, Walter Jenkins, Rebecca Ritenour, Edith Miller and Larry Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Brown (Ronnie) of Strasburg, VA, Donna Lowell (Doug) of Stephens City, VA, Matthew Tolbert of Strasburg, VA, Tasha Penley (Jason) of Strasburg, VA and Jailyn Tolbert of Front Royal, VA; her grandchildren, Josh, Melissa, Katie Bug, Sara Beth, Samuel, Micah, Brenna, Khloe, Lennox, Jackie Ray and Jace; her great grandchildren, Maddie, Macy, Malachi and Aaden; and her siblings, June Fay Plaugher and Douglas Jenkins, Sr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
