He was predeceased by: his parents, Ric Norton and Fran Van Norton; his brother Rodger; and his nephew Joseph. He is survived by: his brother Richard of Star Tannery, VA; and his children, Kristin Chapman of Terra Bella, CA, Randy Van Norton of Porterville, CA and Courtney Whitehurst of Elizabeth City, NC. He is also survived by spouses and twelve grandchildren.
