We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2024, at the age of 88, Patsy Walthall Hassert of Strasburg, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. David Barclay Walthall, Jr. and Lois Emelyn Claytor Walthall; her brother David Barclay Walthall, III; her nephew Eric Walthall; and her nieces, Amy Cast and Lois Walthall Murdaugh.
She is survived by: her husband Robert George Hassert of Strasburg; her sister-in-law Vivian Ann Walthall; her niece Cecelia Walthall; and her nephew David Barclay Walthall, IV (June).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Stover Funeral Home and Crematory (177 N Holliday St, Strasburg, VA 22657). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Riverview Cemetery.
