She is survived by: her daughter Melody Wright Nixon; her grandsons, Christopher Nixon (Kara Richman) and Stephen Nixon (Abby); her stepson Steve Strosnider; and her sister Deborah Alexander Kaufman (Art). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
