Medford Steed Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2020, at the age of 69, Medford Steed (Strasburg, Virginia), born in Front Royal, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lovell Welford "Lovie" Steed and Nina Elizabeth Middleton Hall; his stepfather James A. Hall; and his stepsister Patsy Hodson. He is survived by: his children, Shane A. Steed (Holly) and Papoose Steed; his grandsons, Samuel, Carter and Seth Steed; his sisters, Bonnie Hamman (Mike) and Mildred Nelson (Harry); his stepsister Benita Dodson; and his stepmothers, Rae S. Steed and Phyliss Hall.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
