It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of May Louise Galvach of Strasburg, Virginia, born in Annapolis, Maryland, who passed away on June 22, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Walker and May Bell Smith Walker; her husband Andrew Galvach; her daughter Lisa Marie Day; and her siblings, Lee Walker, Virginia Snapp, Robert, Walker, Gene Walker, Jeannette Baccary and Elinore "Poochie" Lingo.

She is survived by: her children, Sabrina Laswick (Paul) of Pittsburgh, PA and Michael Wood (Sandra) of Strasburg, VA; and her son-in-law Ronnie Day (Tammy) of Winchester, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
