It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Ann Ireson of Strasburg, Virginia, born in Shenandoah, Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Russell and Verdie Lee Whitmer Wood; and her siblings, Wayne Wood and Barbara Berry. She is survived by: her husband Wayne; her children, Dennis R. Ireson and Renee Jones (Lee); her brothers, Gibson Wood (Carol) and Bobby Wood (Phan); and her friends, Bob and Virginia McDonald. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Liberty Baptist Church or Legacy Hospice.
