He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Walter and Virginia Angeline Jones Davis; and his siblings, Marion Dorsey, Johnny Davis, Everett Davis, Billy Davis and Susan Burney.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Bromley Davis of Strasburg, VA; his children, Christopher Shipe, Devin Davis, Alex Cooper, Tammy Vega and Jessica Monn; his grandchildren, Kirsten Cooper of Madison Monn, J. W, Monn, Jr., Ryker Lee Davis, Ryker John Williams, Rachel Cooper, Heather Davis, Holly Reyes, Francisco Chaparro and Remington Cooper; his great grandchildren, Gavin Shipe, Gracie Shipe and Helen Shipe; his siblings, Barbara Gross (Bob), Nelsie Jamison (Butch) and Kermit Orndorff (Frances); and also Kermit Orndorff. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Stover Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
