He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymon Tamkin and Edna Hoover Tamkin of Strasburg, VA. He is survived by: his daughters, Dr. Donna Tamkin of Virginia Beach and Linda Argust (Thomas) of Suffolk, VA; his close friend Diane S. Gray of Harrisonburg, VA; his stepdaughter Tracy Weaver (Brian) of Harrisonburg, VA; his grandchildren, Carrie Price (Chris) of Chesapeake, VA, Thomas Edward Argust, Jr. and Emily Argust of Suffolk, VA; his great grandchildren, Lauren Price and Taylor Price of Chesapeake, VA.; his sister Reba Montera of Texarkana, TX; his nephews, Malcolm and Wendell Smith; and also Avery McCray of Harrisonburg, VA.
In lieu of flowers, he requested donations be made to the Salvation Army.
