He was predeceased by: his parents, Brady Charles and Anetta Marie Rickard Boyer; and his brother Michael Lynn Boyer. He is survived by: his wife Joan Elizabeth Boyer of Strasburg, VA; his daughter Rachel B. Boyer of North Carolina; his stepsons, Travis J. Allard of Star Tannery, VA and Jesse P. Allard of Fishers Hill, VA; and his sister Marlyn Hoffman (Kenneth) of Toms Brook, VA. He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
