It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wake of Strasburg, Virginia, born in Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Orville Wentworth Wake and Jane Addams Maphis Wake of Strasburg, Virginia.; his wife Dianne Helbert of Broadway; his daughters, Christine McNeely of Charlottesville and Jennifer Donahoo (Tommy) of Jacksonville, Florida.; and his grandchildren, Lang, Polly McNeely, Jane and Mitchell Donahoo.
