She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph M. Holmes and Abbie C. Holmes; her husband Robert L. Moore, Sr.; her stepson Robert L. Moore, Jr. (Bootsie); her siblings, Dwight Holmes (Betty) and Karen Holmes; her sister-in-law Shirley Holmes; and her friends, Anne Gayle, Mary Wash and Madalyn Leonard.
She is survived by: her daughter Abbie Gail Moore Ford (Brandon); her grandson Bobby; her siblings, Alton Holmes, Buddy Holmes (Pat), Alma Field (Milton) and Brenda Coppage (James); her siblings-in-law, Gordon Moore, Jo Anne Moore, Vickie Moore and Maureen Moore; her friend Susan Patterson; and her pet Doodle. She is also survived by many cousins, three generations of nieces and nephews, numerous wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations "in honor of Gail Moore," can be made to Seniors First: The Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging – an organization that meant so much to Gail in the final years of her life.
