It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Rutz of Strasburg, Virginia, who passed away on May 10, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Houston Rutz, Sr. and Bertha Drummonds Rutz; and his siblings, Claude T. Rutz, Harry H. Rutz, Jr., Robert P. Rutz, Edward S. Rutz, John W. Rutz, Lena R. Vaught, Eva R. Ranney and Dorothy R. Riffey.

He is survived by: his sister Loretta R. Campbell of Strasburg, VA; his close friend Rick Evans of Strasburg, VA; and his friend Fred. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
