He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Mart" Jenkins and Reba Ardesta Rhodes Jenkins; his wife Rachel Jean Jones Jenkins; and his siblings, Shirley Ann Tolbert, Ida Mae Hepner, June Fay Plaugher, Edith Miller, Walter Jenkins, Jr., Rebecca Ritenour, Larry Jenkins, Sr. and Gloria Jean Jenkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Edward Jenkins, Jr. (Jackie) of Stephens City, VA and Wallace "Wally" A. Jenkins of Strasburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
