He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Fannie Mowery Mumaw; his former wife Josephine Brown Mumaw; his wife Helen Shipp Mumaw; and his brothers, Frank Mumaw, John Mumaw and Jack Smith.
He is survived by: his son Chuck Mumaw (Cindy) of Strasburg, VA; his granddaughters, Amanda Gulla (JP) and Kelli Foxman (Dave); his great grandchildren, Grant Foxman, Cooper Foxman, Maryn Foxman and Joseph Gulla; and his close friend Louise Wymer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
