She is survived by: her husband Jeff Hartzell of Strasburg, VA; her children, Christina Harmon (Tillman) of Front Royal, VA, James McGowan of Pittsburgh, PA, Brandi McGowan of Pittsburgh, PA and Brooke Hartzell (Mike Jones) of Knox, PA; her grandchildren, Gavin Hartzell, Gracie Hartzell, Helen Hartzell, Brady Jones of Knox, PA and Brayden Harmon of Front Royal, VA; her sister Brenda Hipsley (David) of North Beach, MD; her nephews, Kyle and Everett; and her close friend River.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society.
