She is survived by: her children, LaShanda Griffin (Ricky) of Dinwiddie, VA. and Mack Bailey Jr. (Sheila) of Petersburg, VA.; her granddaughter LaShanda Bates of Dinwiddie, VA.; her siblings, Mary King of Petersburg, VA., Ardie Briggs of Stony Creek, VA., Charles Briggs (Shelia) of Prince George, VA., James Briggs (Maureen) of Macon, GA. and Tony Briggs (Shirley) of Loganville, GA.; her sister-in-law Linda Briggs of Stony Creek, VA.; her aunt Ethel B. Poarch of Stony Creek, VA.; and her friends, Reather Mason, Dorothy Davis and Sue Bagnell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, loving family members and cherished friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph M. Johnson and Son Funeral Home (530 S Sycamore St, Petersburg, VA 23803). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hunting Quarter Baptist Church (16166 Hunting Quarter CHR Rd, Stony Creek, VA 23882).
