He was predeceased by: his siblings, Thomas "Tom" Robinson, James "Punk" Robinson, Elijah "Bubba" Robinson, Thelma Robinson and Helen Robinson; and his nephews, Carl Robinson, Jerome Robinson and Ronnie Robinson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lola Jones (Melvin), Carrie Mae Robinson (Ollie) and Bruce Robinson; his sisters-in-law, Patricia Robinson and Gloria Jean Robinson; his nieces and nephews, Philistine Whitaker, Carolyn Jones, Iris Moore (Dwayne), Pam, Kim Robinson, Melita Riley (James), Bobbie Prosise, Alvin Jones, Melvin Jones (Ruby), Dean Robinson (Alice), Delvin Robinson, Montrell Robinson and Dontae Robinson; and also Melvin Jones. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, cousins.
