It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Mason (Stony Creek, Virginia), who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Aaron Jackson and Mary Louise Mason; and his brother Joseph Jackson. He is survived by : longtime partner for over 30 years Maxine Johnson; his children, Margaret Stargell (Mark) of Chino Hills, CA, Dr. Rachel Ivory (Brian) of Chula Vista, CA, Angela Bullock-Conde (Abdoulaye) of Jarratt, VA, Tiffany Mason (Saburi Simpkins) of Ewing, NJ and James Mason (Annette Williams) of Brooklyn, NY; and his siblings, Otisteen Mason of Brooklyn, NY, Phyllis Jackson of Palmetto, GA and Kenneth Jackson of Palmetto, GA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
