With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David R. Lewis of Stony Creek, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on January 14, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cathy Hall Lewis; his brother Donald K. Lewis; and his parents, Claiborne Lewis and Margaret Lewis. He is survived by: his children, David R. Lewis, Jr. (Renea) and Amanda Lewis Lipscomb (Ron); his grandchildren, Rachel Elaine Lewis and Hunter Lee Lipscomb; his brother Claiborne G. Lewis, Jr. (Carol); his niece Shelley Campbell (Jeff); his nephew Brent Lewis (Angela); and his great-niece Olivia.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (303 S Halifax Rd, Jarratt, VA 23867).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
