He was predeceased by: his parent Annie Mason; his brother Clarence Mason (Francis Mason Bailey); his grandparents, Willie and Bessie Mason; his aunts, Lula Wright (George), Carrie Butler, Ethel Williams (Joseph) and Mary Brown (James); and his uncle Frank Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys V. Graves Mason; his son Wymond L. Mason; his sister-in-law Florence G. Jones; his cousins, Gloria Pinkard and Barbara Herds; and his friends, Ralph Shands and Sam Mason. He is also survived by five nieces, two nephews.
