She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Dancy; her son Randy Dancy; and her brother Phillip Gordon. She is survived by: her close friend Chris Velvin; her daughter Lisa Dancy Hammer (Tyler); her grandson Michael Dancy (Ashley); and her siblings, Bonnie Driver (Rodney), Annie Allen (Lorne), Nita Grizzard (Wiley), Wilbur Gordon (Sandi), Oscar Gordon (Ethel) and Wayne Gordon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Paralyzed veterans of America (pva.org).
