He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmus Ruifrok and Maria Bernacki Ruifrok; his wife Carol; his brother August (Gus); and his sons, Jonathan and David.
He is survived by: his children, Anne (Mark), Kathryn and Jerome; his son-in-law Mark; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Lily, Riley, Mina, Sullivan, Connor, Jonathan, Jessica, Johanna and William.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart or American Cancer Associations.
