It is with great sadness that we announce the death of René Escobar Chica of Sterling, Virginia, who passed away on May 27, 2021, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent René Escobar. He is survived by: his mother Idis G. Chica of Annapolis; his close friend Brandon L. Scruggs of Sterling, VA; his brother Samuel Escobar of Arnold, MD; and also Rebeca Escobar of Annapolis.
