He is survived by: his daughter Carrie Kiser (David) of Sterling, VA; his grandchildren, Brandy Burnett (Jesse), Aubrey Mantoni and Chase Kiser; his son Marc Smith of Farmville, VA; his grandchildren, Marc Smith, Jr. and Emmillie Smith; his daughter Kathy Hoffman (Gary) of Charles Town, WV; his grandchildren, Garrett, Kelsie, Cody (Brooke) and Austin Riley Hoffman; his daughter Jennifer Jones (Waymon) of Prospect, VA; his grandchildren, Brianna Ruiz (Fredis), Seth Taylor (Nancy), Luke Taylor, Ariel Lucas, Zethan Taylor, Brandon Jones, Corbin Jones and Ayden Jones; his son Eric Smith (Denise) of Farmville, NC; his grandchildren, Brooke Enslin (Tyler) and Andrea Krause (Keaton); his son Sterling Smith (Alicia) of Green Bay, VA; his grandchildren, Jena Orpiano (Jordan) and Hunter Smith; his children, Damon Smith (Narisara) of Vancouver, WA and Chaiyaphum; his granddaughter Elizabeth Smith; his child Skylar Smith (Anu) of Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA; his grandchildren, Niko Smith and Annika Smith; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Owen Mantoni, Hunter, Shelby, Colton, Lillian, Sebastian Hoffman, Xavier, Ezekiel, Noah Ruiz, Liam Taylor, Cassie Ferrell, ElizaKate, Benton Krause, Evelynn, Kyre and Alayna Orpiano; his brother Richard Smith (Sylvia) of Garden Valley, CA.; his siblings-in-law, Richard Carter (Ann) of Nashville, TN, Michael Carter (Jaquetta) of Vancouver, WA. and Caroline Kiev (Gary) of Afton, VA; and his nephews, Robert Smith (Pauline), Doug Stark (Carmen) and Kent Stark (Tally) of Allen, NE.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (48055 Sugarland Run Dr, Sterling, VA 20164).
