Edith M. Cockburn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith M. Cockburn in Sterling, Virginia, born in Jamaica, Virginia, who passed away on December 14, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon Edgerton and Charlotte O'Meally (Murray); and her siblings, Lionel, Philip, Durneif O'Meally, Daisy Davis, Hepzebah Johnson (HB), Loris Rerrie and Daphne Collins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Jellerette (Troy) of Norwalk, Sharon Tucker (Wayne) of Uniondale and Tregel Amos (Michael) of Sterling, Virginia; her grandchildren, Vaughn Tucker, Monica Tucker, Danielle Jellerette, Taylor Jellerette (Michelle), Alyssa Amos and Michael Amos, Jr.; her sister Evelyn Wedemier Salmon (O'Meally) of Pembrooke Pines; and her cousins, Alvarene Molland (Murray) of Manhattan and Lloyd O'Meally of Panama. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, sister friends, and adopted children.
