She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Lamar Sr. and Dorothy Lamar (Billingslea); and her sister Sandra Harmon. She is survived by: her husband Everett Barnes Jr.; her daughters, Mary and Megan Barnes; her grandson Leander; and her siblings, Dan Lamar Jr. and Francoise Lamar. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
