We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2021, at the age of 85, Barbara Scruggs of Sterling, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Fletcher and Mary Saunders Fletcher; her siblings, Shirley Chumley, John Fletcher and Charles Fletcher; and her grandson Sean Groves.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Dean Scruggs; and her children, Ernest Groves, Mary Ann Mandley, James Groves, Patsy Christian of Front Royal, Deanna Alexander, Dawn Dyer and Barbara Oswald. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
