He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Douglas Hoover and Grace Henry; his wife Elizabeth Sue Hoover; his stepsons, Benji Alexander Jr. and Brandon Alexander; his daughter Melissa Rae Springer; and his siblings, Tinker Brannon (Scott), Allen D. Hoover and Alton Darby Hoover. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
