He is survived by: his parents, Garland Clifton Shanholtzer and Lillian Hott Johnson; his daughter Cynthia McGinnis (William Howard, Jr.) of Bunker Hill, WV; his sisters, Carolyn Levins of Stephenson, VA and Beverly Shanholtzer of Jefferson, MD; his grandsons, James Dixon, Justin McGinnis and William Howard III; and his great grandchildren, Brayden Dixon, Jazlyn Dixon and William Howard IV.
