She was predeceased by: her parents, Evan Hicks and Joetta Hicks; and her sibling Jerry Cunningham (Robert). She is survived by: her husband Elmer Symsack; her children, Steven Symsack (Lisa) of Jenks, OK, Jennifer Pohlkotte (Dean) of Dayton, OH and Scott Symsack (Allison) of Ashburn, VA.; her sisters, Jo Jean Farquharson (Dale) of Dallas, TX and Judy Hughes of Grove, OK.; and her nieces and nephews, Alysa, Ryan, Evan, Bryson and Tyler. She is also survived by mom for her children and their friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park Street SE, Vienna, Virginia 22180.
