He is survived by: his parents, Robert Lee and Margery Conner; his son Allen "Russ" Conner of Stephenson; his sisters, Helen Funkhouser, Mary McKay of Winchester and Nancy Henry of Frederick County, VA.; his son John W. Conner; and his siblings, Robert Conner, Clarence Conner, Shirley Shumaker and Louise Shade. He is also survived by four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
