Updike of Stephenson, Virginia, born in Capon Bridge, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 90, on February 27, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Caudy D. Wolford and Violet Anderson Wolford; her husband Sherman E. Updike; her boyfriend Robert W. Smith; her daughter-in-law Barbara "Bobbie" Larrick; and her sisters, Peggy Sue LaFollette and Willetta Meade.
She is survived by: her siblings, Kenneth Wolford of Winchester, VA, Dorothy Whitacre of Capon Bridge, WV, JoAnn Copeland of Stephen City, VA and Nancy Riley of Capon Bridge, WV; and her stepgreat-grandmother Kaitlyn Perkins.
