He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Ireland; his son Charlie; and his siblings, Ella Marlin, Alice McNeal, Mary Lowman, Doris Poor, Gladys Ireland, Blanche Harlan, Bea Ireland and Raymond Ireland.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Weaver of Gonzales and George Ireland (Sue) of Manassas; his grandchildren, Matthew Ireland (Kimberley), Michael Ireland (Jennifer) of Stephens City and Shana Hoffer of Minneapolis; his stepgrandchildren, Todd Weaver of Dallas and Ann Todd of Woodward; his great grandchildren, Shannon of Stephens City, Jordan of Stephens City, Alix of Stephens City, Rachel of Stephens City, Brodilyn of Stephens City, Mitchell of Stephens City and Vienna Hoffer of Minneapolis; and his friend Sherry Chapman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
