With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda June Lafollette Sandy of Stephens City, Virginia, born in Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on October 9, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Catherine Lafollette (Lewis) and Alston Richard Lafollette; her husband Charles "Charlie" Russell Sandy, Sr.; and her daughter-in-law Ellen M. Sandy. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Russell "Rusty" Sandy (Susan), Kenneth Thomas Sandy (Bonnie) and Timothy Alston Sandy, Sr. (Debbra); her grandchildren, Alanna Jenkins (Nick), Brian Sandy (Caroline), Karen Bradley, Michelle Broadstreet, Jennifer Cooper (Titus), Timothy A. Sandy, Jr. (Michelle) and Hannah Sandy; and her siblings, Bonnie Hall, Lanette Rhodes (Robbie) and Richard "Dickie" Lafollette (Mary Jo). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
