He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Campbell and Anne Lee Jewell; and his siblings, Gloria Orndorff, Sandy Orndorff, Connie Orndorff, Brenda Jewell and Kenny Orndorff.
He is survived by: his fiancée Janet Mason of Stephens City, VA; his sons, Steve Allen Jewell, Jr. of Winchester, VA, Curtis Jewell of Roanoke, VA and Steven Smeltzer of Front Royal, VA; his stepchildren, Hannah Puffinberger, Trayton Puffinberger and Jacob Hillstrom; his siblings, Arthur "Gene" Jewell of Winchester, VA, Keith Scruggs of Winchester, VA, Sherry Puffinberger of Winchester, VA and Donna Puffinberger of Gore, VA; and his half-siblings, Tiersa Riggleman, Pam Jewell, Johnny Campbell, Butch Campbell, David Campbell and Danny Campbell. He is also survived by three granddaughters; one grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
