We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2024, Rodney W. VanMeter of Stephens City, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rodney shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rodney farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde VanMeter and Rebecca VanMeter; and his sister Debbie VanMeter. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his son Rodney Wayne VanMeter II of Augusta, WV; his granddaughter Brianna Nicole VanMeter of Augusta, WV; and his brother Clyde Lewis "Lou" VanMeter (Carol) of Winchester, VA..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the South Chapel (1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Shenandoah Memorial Park (1270 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602).
