It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Odie Lee Whittington of Stephens City, Virginia, born in Woodstock, Virginia, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Shell and Beulah Fishel Bennett; her husband Joseph Jonah Whittington; and her siblings, Harry "Bud" Shell, Gary Shell, Levi Shell, James Shell, Sr., Louise Feathers, Mary Shell and Lucille Rinker.
She is survived by: her son Wayne Lee Whittington (Sherry) of Winchester, VA; her grandchildren, Tiffany Saville (Robert) of Cross Junction, VA and Corey Evans (Sara) of Middletown, VA; her great grandchildren, Reed Saville, Cam Evans and Cheyenne Miller; and her great great grandchild Stella Conteras.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (810 Fairfax St, Stephens City, VA 22655). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Shenandoah Memorial Park (1270 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602).
