It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Walker of Stephens City, Virginia, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Newton and Edith Lowella Weatherholtz Zirk; her husband Robert Paul Walker; and her siblings, John "Job" Zirk, Charles "Putz" Zirk, Newton "Bud" Zirk, Bobbie Zirk, Larry Zirk, James Zirk, Hazel Costello and Marjorie "Lee" Gray.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Paul Walker, Jr. (Luci) of Winchester, Richard Eugene Walker (Tammy) of Milton, FL, Randy Jay Walker of Centreville, VA and Russell Allen Walker (Allison) of Winchester; her sister Nellie Snoots of Stephens City; her adoptive daughter Roxanne Marie Walker; and her cousin Joe Delawder. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice In Patient Care Center, 333 W. Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.

“Aunt Mary wrote me a note just days before her death which I’ll treasure always. I just received the card today and wanted to respond today, but unfortunately found out through a web search of her death. She talked about my Mom and Dad (her brother) and I know they are all together now. My prayers and sympathy go out to the loved ones still here on this earth. May the Lord wrap his loving arms around you and give you comfort. Debbie and Randy Cooley”
