It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mark R. Carpenter of Stephens City, Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Carpenter and Helen Carpenter; and his siblings, Teresa "Terri" Carpenter and Gregory "Scott" Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Philip Carpenter (Anna) of Gore, VA, Cara Lawhorne (Jamie) of Gilbert, SC and Taylor Carpenter of Belleville, IL; and his grandchildren, Peyton Lawhorne, Austin Lawhorne, Avery Lawhorne, Levi Lawhorne and Camden Mack. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Direct Cremation Services of Virginia in Stephens City (106 Hyde Ct, Stephens City, VA 22655).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mark to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank or the SPCA.
