She is survived by: her son Jeffery Allen Merkel (Victoria) of Stephens City, VA; her stepson Robert Gene Merkel (Mitzi); and her siblings, Patricia "Pat" McKinney (Mac), Dorothy Smith (Bill) and Thomas J. Munger, III. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
