She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lester and Pearl Washington Racey Ryman; her husband Francis Strother Rickard of Middletown, VA; her son Denzil Rickard; her great grandchild Sarah Elizabeth McDonald; and her siblings, Mary Clem, Alice Payne, Bessie Clem, Dorothy Williams, Arthur Ryman, Lester Ryman, Carson Ryman and Harry Ryman.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. W. Chester Rickard (Charlotte) of Roebuck, SC, Roger Rickard, Larry E. Rickard (Becky), Linda C. McDonald (Dick) of Stephens City, VA and Peggy M. Fleming (late Dickie) of Stephens City, VA; and her daughter-in-law Ruth E. Rickard of Lebanon Church. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren.
