She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Racey and Nellie Jenkins Racey; and her sister Mary Jenkins. She is survived by: her husband Maynard "Butch" Matthew Boyce, Jr.; her children, Diana Phillips and Christopher Boyce; her grandchildren, Sydney Lane Phillips, William Grimes Phillips III and Elijah Kiseki Boyce; her great grandchild Emmalyn Burnett Martin; and her sisters, Grace Foltz, Margarite George, Peggy Fahnestock, Mable Rinker, Nancy Grant and Dorothy Hoffmaster.
